The daily free episode: how it works
Once the opening block runs out, the daily free episode is the most dependable free route. In Pocket FM’s words, listeners “can enjoy a complimentary daily episode by ensuring they have listened to the latest available unlocked episodes entirely.”
That last part matters more than most people realize. To get the free episode, finish the episodes you have already unlocked, all the way to the end. If you skipped ahead or stopped halfway through the latest unlocked one, go back and complete it first.
- Pocket FM also lets you “wait for free episodes after a specified duration, which is clearly indicated for each episode.” Tap a locked episode and the app shows you how long that wait is.

- Tap the locked episode you want.
- On the unlock screen, choose the option to watch an ad instead of paying coins.
- Let the video play all the way through and keep the app open while it runs. If you close it early, do not expect the unlock.
- When the ad finishes, go back to the episode and check that the lock is gone.

We could not find any official Pocket FM channel that hosts these English series in full for free. The problems with the unofficial ones:
