Insta Millionaire is one of Pocket FM’s best-known hidden-billionaire dramas. This page covers the English edition (Insta Millionaire Pocket FM English), whose hero is Alex Ambrose: 1,384 episodes, more than 316 million plays, a 4.7 average from 70,032 ratings. The record marks it complete, with nothing added since 9 March 2024. Every figure here was read from the official show page on 21 September 2026.
If Pocket FM is new to you: it is an audio-series app rather than a podcast feed or an audiobook store. Shows are told in short episodes — around ten minutes here — with a full voice cast and sound design, and run for hundreds or thousands of episodes. It is free to start: the first 12 are unlocked at no cost, plus one free episode a day after that. The last section explains the rest.

What the story is about, without spoilers
Alex Ambrose is a student at Preston University whom everybody assumes is dirt poor. He is not. He is the second-generation heir of the Ambrose family and has just finished a seven-year “poverty training” programme his family set as a test of character. The night it ends he comes into the inheritance — and, in the same stretch of hours, is dumped for being broke.
The decision that powers the series is what he does next: nothing. Alex keeps the money quiet. Pocket FM puts numbers on what he is sitting on — $86 million, a black card and what it calls priceless assets — while he carries on as the penniless delivery boy everyone looks down on. The engine is dramatic irony: he absorbs humiliation from a materialistic ex and a contemptuous classmate, quietly uses family influence to fix other people’s crises, then watches someone else take the credit.
The early episode titles show the rhythm: “E1. Good and Bad Surprises”, “E2. Surprising the Bank Manager”, “E3. The Mean Ex”, “E5. Oh! He’s that Loser!” and “E8. The Power Of Family Connections”. Pocket FM tags it as a poverty test, class divide, betrayal and revenge, and hidden identity, and calls the theme perception versus reality — whether a person is worth what is in their account or in their character.

English or Hindi? They are two different shows
This trips people up constantly. Pocket FM runs Insta Millionaire as separate productions per language, and they are not dubs of one another. The English edition here has 1,384 episodes and a hero called Alex Ambrose at Preston University. The Hindi edition is a different record with 1,440 episodes and a hero called Lucky. Episode numbers, names and running times do not carry across — if a summary mentions Lucky, you are reading about the other show.
Listen to Episodes 1 to 5 on YouTube
The first five episodes of Insta Millionaire (about 70 minutes) are below, so you can meet Alex Ambrose and decide if the show is for you. The rest of the series is available on the official Pocket FM app.
Where the story stands
Here we report a contradiction rather than resolve it. The data record says the series is complete and the most recent episode was added on 9 March 2024 — eighteen months ago. The FAQ on the same page says the story “is ongoing, with new episodes continuing the intricate plot”. Both are Pocket FM’s. The count of 1,384 agrees across both, and eighteen months of silence points to finished.
How Insta Millionaire ends
Spoilers ahead. The finale, episodes 1,380 to 1,384, brings the whole crooked road of Alex’s life to one morning on the Clifton Heights boardwalk. It is a joint wedding with a Greek, Mount Olympus theme: Alex marries Debbie Stonehill while his friend Gino marries Tanya, in front of a huge crowd made up of the friends and family he gathered along the way. Debbie’s vow asks the crowd who Alex ever stepped up for, and every hand rises. Alex’s own vow finds its word in the moment: home. Debbie is his home, wherever they go. At the reception, Justin’s band Shock Treatment reunites with Halle Birch and Sticks Shanahan and plays the biggest concert the town has seen.
As the party blazes, Alex sees an old friend one last time. Forsyth, the star-formed gatekeeper of the celestial road, tells him there is only one thing better than immortality, and that is true love; the end of one road is only the beginning of the next, and this one cannot be travelled alone. That is the point of the ending. Alex was once an immortal who walked the celestial realms and chose to come back to Earth for love, and he finishes his journey as the one thing he always wanted to be, a husband. The series signs off with a plain question rather than a promise: would this dream life last? Time will tell.
How it ends, as listeners describe it
Listeners who finished the English edition describe the shape of the ending consistently, even if nobody has posted a scene-by-scene account. The original premise, the secret-millionaire drama, is largely left behind in the last stretch. Around episode 884 the first book closes, and the second book sends Alex into a multiverse storyline where he has god-like power but chooses to live one timeline as a mortal without his memories. Several long-time fans say it turns into a superpower saga in the final 200 episodes and that this is why reviews of the ending are mixed.
On Alex and Debbie, listeners disagree. Some report she marries someone else while Alex is away; others describe a reunion at the end; one says she simply drops out of the story. We could not settle this from public sources, so we are listing all three versions rather than picking one. If you heard the last episode, the comments are open.
Main characters
- Alex Ambrose — the lead, described by Pocket FM as a kind-hearted student living a double life as a secret multi-millionaire.
- Cathy — his ex-girlfriend, named by Pocket FM as one of the show’s antagonists.
- Rose Scott — a rich classmate who despises him; two of the first ten episodes are named after her situation.
- Maddison Robbins — described as a cruel bully who targets the vulnerable.
- Emma, Rachael and Debbie Stonehill — the allies and love interests Pocket FM names: a loyal friend, someone who sees his worth, and a poor classmate central to his journey.
- Mark and Lucy Smith — the family butler and a director in the family company, his links to money he will not admit to.
Those are all the names Pocket FM provides. The writing credit reads “Ryan Phillips and 3 more”; the cast section carries one name, Jonathan Popp, with the character field blank, so who voices whom is not published.
How many episodes, and how long it really takes
1,384 episodes. The running time Pocket FM stores works out to roughly 225 hours — just under ten minutes an episode, with the openers running six to fourteen. At an hour a day, about seven and a half months.
Worth flagging: the free opening block here is only 12 episodes, the smallest of Pocket FM’s major English shows. Where Saving Nora gives 27 and My Vampire System gives 39, this one puts you in front of the unlock system after about two hours.
Is it worth your time? An honest take
The premise is one of the most reliable in serialised fiction and this is a clean execution: 316 million plays, 4.7 from 70,032 ratings, fourth in Pocket FM’s Drama chart. The appeal is simple and does not wear out quickly — somebody is rude to Alex, you know what he could do about it, and you wait. If that loop works on you, 1,384 episodes will go down easily.
The drawbacks are real. That loop is the entire structure, so the show is repetitive by design in a way Saving Nora is not — that one changes shape, this one mostly escalates. The “A” rating puts it out of reach for younger listeners. The page contradicts itself about whether the series is finished and about whether it is an adaptation at all. And the English edition sits behind the Hindi one in reach, so most of the summaries and clips online are about Lucky, not Alex.
Insta Millionaire English episode guide: the milestones that matter
Pocket FM gives you a list of 1,384 titles, not a map. These are the points worth knowing before you commit, using only what is on the official show page plus what long-time listeners consistently report (marked as such). Episode times are worked out from the roughly 225 hours Pocket FM stores for the whole run, so treat them as estimates.
| Where | What happens | How far in |
|---|---|---|
| Episodes 1 to 8 | The setup: “E1. Good and Bad Surprises”, “E2. Surprising the Bank Manager”, “E3. The Mean Ex”, “E5. Oh! He’s that Loser!”, “E8. The Power Of Family Connections”. Alex inherits, gets dumped and decides to keep the money secret. | First hour or so |
| Episode 12 | The end of the free opening block. From episode 13 you are on the daily free episode, ad videos or coins. | About 2 hours |
| Around episode 884 | Listeners report that the first book closes here and a second book begins, sending Alex into a multiverse storyline. Pocket FM itself does not split the show into books or seasons. | About 144 hours, roughly two-thirds of the way |
| The last ~200 episodes | Listeners describe this stretch as a superpower saga, far from the original secret-millionaire drama, and it is the main reason reviews of the ending are mixed. | From roughly episode 1,184 |
| Episodes 1,380 to 1,384 | The finale: the joint wedding on the Clifton Heights boardwalk and Alex’s last meeting with Forsyth (full spoilers in the ending section above). | The final hour |
How to use this: if what you want is the hidden-billionaire revenge loop, the first book (up to about episode 884) is the part that delivers it. If you are fine with the story changing genre, keep going to the wedding. Either way, the “Book 2” label is a fan description, not something Pocket FM prints, so you will not find a separate show for it in the app.
Shows like Insta Millionaire on Pocket FM
If what hooked you was the hidden-identity setup — a man everyone looks down on who is secretly rich or powerful — these are the closest matches we have covered, all checked against their official Pocket FM pages:
- Secret Ameerzaada (Hindi, 1,116 episodes, complete) — the nearest twin. Ahan Raizada, whom everyone treats as poor and useless, suddenly becomes heir to a fortune and sets out to win his wife’s love and teach her family humility.
- The Return of Tiger (Hindi, 1,703 episodes, still ongoing) — Abhinav is an ordinary delivery boy, like Alex’s cover, who learns he is the son of “Tiger”, the underworld’s uncrowned king.
- Insta Millionaire (Hindi) (1,440 episodes, complete) — the separate Hindi production with Lucky as the hero, if you are comfortable in Hindi and want the same premise with a different story.
- Saving Nora (English, 2,332 episodes, complete) — the revenge side without the money secret: Nora comes back successful to make everyone who mistreated her pay.
- The Billionaire’s Accidental Bride (English, 1,565 episodes, complete) — a payback plan after a cheating partner, told from the woman’s side.
- My Vampire System (English, 4,192 episodes) — only if the later superpower stretch is what you enjoyed: Quinn Talen is an underdog handed a “system” and an ability nobody has seen.
Two practical notes. Insta Millionaire (English) has one of the smallest free opening blocks of the big English shows, 12 episodes, so any of the others will let you sample more before the unlock system kicks in. And if age matters in your house: this show is rated “A”, while Saving Nora and The Billionaire’s Accidental Bride carry U/A 16+.

Frequently asked questions
How many episodes does Insta Millionaire have?
The English edition has 1,384, as recorded on the official show page on 21 September 2026. The Hindi edition is a separate show.
Is Insta Millionaire completed?
Pocket FM’s data marks it complete and nothing has been added since 9 March 2024, but the FAQ on the same page still calls it ongoing. We report both.
How does Insta Millionaire end?
Insta Millionaire ends, in episodes 1380 to 1384, with Alex Ambrose marrying Debbie Stonehill in a joint seaside wedding on the Clifton Heights boardwalk, alongside his friend Gino and Tanya. Justin’s band Shock Treatment reunites for the reception, and Alex has one last meeting with Forsyth, the gatekeeper of the celestial road, who tells him the only thing better than immortality is true love. Alex, who once gave up immortality to return to Earth, closes his story as a husband; the final line asks whether the dream will last, and answers “time will tell.”
Who is Alex Ambrose?
The hero of the English edition: a Preston University student who has just passed his family’s seven-year poverty test and inherited a fortune he tells nobody about.
Who are the main characters?
Alex, plus Cathy, Rose Scott and Maddison Robbins as antagonists, Emma, Rachael and Debbie Stonehill as allies, and Mark and Lucy Smith on the family-money side.
Is the English version the same as the Hindi one?
No. They are separate productions with different episode counts and different leads — Alex Ambrose in English, Lucky in Hindi.
Is there an Insta Millionaire season 2?
Pocket FM does not use seasons here. There is one run of 1,384 episodes and no season list.
Can you listen to the whole show free?
Not all 1,384. The first 12 are free, then one free episode a day, ad-video unlocks and coins. The next section covers each route.
Is Insta Millionaire on YouTube?
Only the first five episodes of Insta Millionaire are on YouTube, covering the start of Alex Ambrose’s story. The full series is available only on the official Pocket FM app. The “all episodes” channels you may find on YouTube are re-uploads, not the complete official series.
Where does “Book 2” of Insta Millionaire start?
Pocket FM does not divide the English edition into books or seasons. Listeners report that the first book closes around episode 884, after which Alex enters a multiverse storyline; that is a fan description of the story, not a label in the app.
What should I listen to after Insta Millionaire?
For the same hidden-rich premise, Secret Ameerzaada (Hindi, 1,116 episodes, complete) is the closest match. In English, Saving Nora and The Billionaire’s Accidental Bride share the revenge-and-payback feel, and My Vampire System suits listeners who liked the later superpower turn.
How to listen to Insta Millionaire free on Pocket FM
Short answer, in four steps:
- Install the Pocket FM app from Google Play or the App Store. The app itself is free.
- Search for “Insta Millionaire” and start listening: the first 12 episodes are free, no coins needed.
- After that, one more episode unlocks free every day, or watch the ad video shown on an episode to unlock it sooner.
- The remaining episodes unlock with coins, which you can earn through in-app tasks and videos rather than only buy.
Pocket FM’s official FAQ says the app provides a selection of episodes from every audio drama at no cost, so listeners can get through a substantial part of the story without paying. Here that opening block is 12 episodes. The same FAQ adds one complimentary episode a day, provided you have listened right through what you have already unlocked.
Past that, Pocket FM lists three official ways to unlock an episode:
- Wait — every locked episode shows a countdown; when it runs out, the episode opens for free.
- Watch ad videos — the app tells you how many will unlock the next episodes, and watching costs nothing but time.
- Coins — coins unlock any locked episode. Pocket FM says you can buy them in My Store or earn them free by completing tasks and watching videos, and that credited coins never expire.
There are also promo codes, but be careful: Pocket FM’s FAQ says only that they are distributed through its network of partners, and that you should check My Store for current offers. The “free coins” coupon pages in search results are affiliate sites, not Pocket FM. The app is free to install — Android: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.radio.pocketfm · iPhone and iPad: apps.apple.com/us/app/pocket-fm-audio-dramas/id1538433480.
What is not true is that the whole series is free somewhere else. Pocket FM’s Play Store listing puts it plainly: you only pay when you exceed the free episode limit. There is no official full-series playlist outside the app, and the clip channels in search results carry promos and extracts, not 1,384 episodes.
The same guides to Pocket FM’s other big English series: Saving Nora, The Billionaire’s Accidental Bride, Cupid’s Curse and My Vampire System.

Insta Millionaire Pocket FM English: how it differs from the Hindi version
This page covers the English Insta Millionaire on Pocket FM, the one whose hero is Alex Ambrose. Pocket FM also runs a Hindi Insta Millionaire, and the two are not the same recording with a different voice track: the Hindi show follows a hero called Lucky, runs 1,440 episodes and closes on the “Mission Save Shreen” arc, while the English show runs 1,384 episodes and closes on Alex Ambrose’s wedding. If you searched “Insta Millionaire Pocket FM” and landed on a Lucky story, you were reading about the Hindi one. Our guide to that version is here: Insta Millionaire Pocket FM (Hindi, 1,440 episodes).
| Version | Hero | Total episodes | Status | Finale arc |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Insta Millionaire (English) | Alex Ambrose | 1,384 | Complete | Alex’s wedding (episode 1,384) |
| Insta Millionaire (Hindi) | Lucky | 1,440 | Complete | Mission Save Shreen (episode 1,440) |
Alex Ambrose Insta Millionaire: who he is in one paragraph
Alex Ambrose starts the series as the man everyone underestimates: broke, dumped, and treated as a joke by the people around him, until he learns he is the heir to the Ambrose fortune. The whole 1,384-episode run is the gap between what people assume about him and what he actually is, and the writers keep that gap open for a very long time before the reveals land. If you only want the shape of his arc without the play-by-play, the “Where the story stands” and ending sections above cover it; the short version is that the series does give him a real conclusion rather than an open cliffhanger.
Which one should you start with?
Pick by language, not by plot. Both versions are complete, both are long (roughly 1,400 episodes each), and both end properly. English listeners get Alex Ambrose; Hindi listeners get Lucky. Do not try to mix them: the episode numbers, side characters and arc names do not line up, so a Hindi recap will not help you follow the English feed and vice versa. If you are bilingual and want the most searched-for version in India, the Hindi one has the larger fan base; if you want the version most international listeners discuss, it is this English one.
Are “Insta Millionaire English all episodes” Telegram or Dailymotion links safe?
Mostly no. The “all 1,384 episodes free download” posts you see for this show are re-uploads that get taken down, replaced with ad-redirect chains, or bundled with unwanted APKs. The legal free routes are the ones described in the “How to listen free” section above: the daily free episodes in the app, ad-unlocked episodes, and the Episode 1 uploads on YouTube. If someone sends you a shortened link claiming to have the full series, run it through our Link Safety Checker before you open it.
New to Pocket FM’s Hindi catalogue? Try Yakshini (1,001 episodes, complete) and Super Yoddha (ongoing, 3,400+ episodes).
Are the Telegram / Dailymotion ‘all episodes’ links safe?
Short answer: no. The “all episodes” Telegram channels and Dailymotion playlists that show up in search are unofficial re-uploads by fans, not Pocket FM. Episodes are usually out of order, whole stretches of the story are missing, and the channels disappear after a takedown, often right in the middle of the series. The bigger problem is safety: those pages are packed with fake download buttons, sideloaded APK files and scam ads that can install malware on your phone or lead to OTP and wallet fraud.
The safe, legal way to listen free is the official Pocket FM app: the first 12 episodes of this show are free (the number differs from show to show, so check each show’s free block in the app), one more episode unlocks free every day, and the rest can be unlocked by watching a short ad or with coins. If someone sends you a link that looks suspicious, paste it into our Link Safety Checker before you open it.
